Arthur, Stella, and I have been kicking it here at home and having all sorts of fun things. Confession: we had bad ice-cream at least twice. The following is a photo journal of sorts that documents our time...
Stella's mainstays this week were her favorite things: the "friend" or pacifier, blanket, soft toy monkey, and her Signing Time DVDs, this is her doing a sign... I have no idea what it is I was trying to get her to sign "gram'ma", instead she offered this "in the house" pose
Arthur and I played one of our most preferred games: stunt fireman! Basically we put them on the end of ladder and send them flying into the air! Great fun
This is on the lawn in between the MTC and the Provo Temple. We sat and enjoyed the view and pleasant weather, with some ice cream
Arthur is sampling Stella's ice cream, much to her concern
This was also the week that Stella decided to get more adventurous, here she is climbing the ladder at the Rock Canyon Park, Provo
Also, Stella doing her first independent slide...
Arthur decided to do some space art on our white board, lots of Uternauts! Still not sure where he picked that up from
Last Saturday we went to the Orem Library Puppet Festival, so we came home to do some of our own puppeting, and with some prior Christmas gifts from gram'ma Carla
We have also been building lots of K'Nex models, this one was for gram'ma Carla. Arthur suggested we could show it to her next time she visited. I explained that that would not be possible since she was very ill in hospital and could not leave. This picture is now hanging in her room.
Overall, I have decided that I am less than half the woman Karin is, and that I am sure she is more of a man than I am! I had a great time with the kids, and are blessed that we can be together as a family as long as we remain faithful to each and the Lord.
I love you Karin!
