Arthur and I were sitting down eating lunch together today, when he turned to me with a very serious expression and said:
"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"I know that Jesus teaches the little children because he loves them."
(With my heart melting in my chest) "Really?"
"Yes, and he also gives them lizards."
"Lizards?"
"Yes, but just small ones. And also King Benjamin teaches from his tall tall tower, but he doesn't have any lizards."
"....Okay!"
Thank you children's illustrated Book of Mormon stories for helping teach my son about Jesus and lizards!
