My Black and Decker blender! And the fruit smoothies that we make in it everyday! Arthur and I can't get through the day without a cold, creamy, fruity beverage!

Our new stroller! Bought mainly for our baby girl, but Arthur has been testing it out for us and we both love it! Thank goodness for jogging strollers and front swivel wheels!
There is just something about their additional 40% off clearance prices sale in January that gets my heart racing (and my closets filled!). Our baby girl will be outfitted in 90% Old Navy for the first year of her life, and why not when their additionally discounted clearance prices beat out DI's price tags! I'm all for second hand, but only if I can't find something new at an even better price. And to think, someday I'll have a girl that will get just as excited about shopping sales as I do!
I highly recommend this book! Arthur is going through what a lovingly call a 'picky eating phase' right now, but might better be described as an "I don't like that!" "What is that?!?" "Its too spicy!!" "No thanks!" kind of phase. This cookbook shares ingenious tips for incorporating vegetable and fruit purees into your cooking that are both invisible and undetectable! I love it! Sure I still offer Arthur vegetables, and he has always loved his fruits, but I can now smile when I hear his "NO thanks!" at the dinner table knowing that I've got the upper hand and he'll never know that the cream in his Mac and cheese is really cauliflower!

I love deceptively delicious too! (Although none of us like mac and cheese too much, but now I do pancakes and waffles and french toast and cookies a la Jessica S.) AND I love a swivel wheel jogging stroller. And our blender. And how come I didn't know how awesome Old Navy was? I think I must not go in there enough. We're excited for the day when your new little girl gets here!
Hey Karin, Thanks for taking the time to blog... we miss you guys so much and it was really good to read how you are settling and just a life update, especially on Arthurs activities! Nic's fave quote after you left was the 'someone sawed it' 'botman' convo of Arthurs. Love the chambers :) xx
Cauliflower! I wish I had known this when you were little! Love the creative ways to healthy eating idea though. I am still working on this with Richard. Perhaps I can incorporate cauliflower into chocolate chip cookies! Think he'll suspect?
Welcome to parenthood- About the time you think you have your kids figured out, they have changed their mind!
