This sign is hanging by the elevator in our building and we have no idea what it says, so I put our trusty Polish-English dictionary to use and...well we still have no idea what it says.

This is the University where Chris is taking classes for the next four months. (As part of his Master's degree through Kingston University in England, he has to spend his last two semesters at other European Universities which are connected to Kingston.)
A familiar sight! We live around the block from this huge shopping mall, one of its popular fixtures being a Hard Rock Cafe. So we stopped in and had some dinner...we just couldn't resist!

Well as far as your sign goes I checked with the online translator and the literal translation is.
We are returned burning (smoking) with kind request about it (him) on corridors and staircases.
So I am guessing it is saying no smoking in the hallways and staircases.
How exciting to be in a new country I wish I could come visit.
