On Sunday June 22nd Arthur was blessed. It was a very special day for us and we were surrounded by family and friends, which made it even more perfect. Chris' parents- the brand new grandparents- came from England and Karin's came from Texas in addition to many other family members and friends alike from near and far. We had been warned your first baby always screams through their blessing, and so we had braced ourselves for the worst. But, as we should have known, Arthur made not a peep- and he was wide awake to boot! He was all smiles when it was over and charmed everyone in the rows behind us with his bright eyes and baby coos. He is a very special boy and we are so blessed to be apart of his life! We all had a great time after the blessing at a near by park with lots of bar-b-que and good conversation. Thanks to everyone who joined us, we love you all! As always we were sad to see our family go, but it will all the more exciting when we get to see them again and show off how much Arthur has grown!
