Christmas Lights and Preschool

We went to the Christmas light switch on in our city center at the end of November. They always put on a big show followed by fireworks and then the lights get turned on. We had such a great time last year that we decided to make it a tradition. We get there early to stake out a seat and the kids and I hold our places while Chris gets us all fish and chips from the shop around the corner.

This year we ran into two other families that we are friends with so between us we had a whole group of kids!

Jelly bean graphing for our letter J week.

We also played alphabet bingo with the Jelly Beans.

Some shots from letter K week.

For this game she had pictures of kangaroos with something in their pouch, she had to figure out what letter it started with and hop the kangaroo to the matching letter card.

Another edible craft project we did with friends- jungle jars!

Sorting rocks by various characteristics.

J is for jellyfish!!!
