Stella with her letter L board, ready to start letter M!
Monsters, oh my!
We played a little game/rhyme where I hid the white mouse behind one of these houses and we sang "Little mouse, little mouse are you in the ______ (color) house?"
Then she peeks under that house and keeps guessing until she finds the mouse. She loved it! The poor paper mouse had almost been loved to death by the end of the week!
M&M sorting- YUM!
This was a history craft. The kids each made shield and drew a fierce design on the foil to frighten their enemies!
Ok, these shots were three of my favorites, but I literally have about 15 pictures of them in various 'warrior' poses with their completed shields. So, ask them to smile for a picture and I get nothing, but tell them to reenact an epic battle and they will spend an hour choreographing so I can shoot it frame by frame.
M is for mountain.
Mitten matching game.
This science lab was to study how sediment settles and forms distinct layers because of the size and weight of different particles. Helpful to know when you are trying to understand sedimentary rocks.
Our 'roll a monster' math game!
What a marvelous M week!
