Old Town

Last week we went with some friends to 'Old Town', which is essentially the oldest part of Warsaw. We took in some astonishing scenery and beautiful architecture.

I loved this sculpture that was outside of a jewelry store, you can tell by looking at it that it is very old.

This was a scale that you can put a coin in and weigh yourself, right on the street!

This creepy looking guy has apparently been standing on this street corner everyday for over ten years ringing his bell and collecting change from anyone who is brave enough to get that close, which was NOT me- yikes!

Arthur loved chasing the pigeons that congregate in the middle of the square around the fountain.

Here is the fountain- the statue is a mermaid because Warsaw is the city of the mermaid apparently!
