We visited a beautiful National Trust garden this week. It was basically an old home built in the late 1800's by a very wealthy family. The house itself was mostly burned down in a tragic fire in the early 1900's, but the remains are still there and it must have been a stunningly beautiful building in it's day. The house is surrounded by seemingly endless acres of gardens with trees and flowers collected from all over the world planted there. It was a perfectly sunny day and the flowers have just started blooming- we had a great time!
