Chris turned 30 this week!
We kept it pretty low key as far as birthdays go, just made a nice dinner at home complete with our favorite Italian chocolate cake and whipped cream, homemade Bruschetta and a delicious Spaghetti Carbonara with Artichoke hearts, we topped it off with Sparkling Cider and feasted like kings.
We love you Chris and want you to know that you don't look a day older!

At first I thought you were in a fancy restaurant, by the yummy food. Then I noticed the wall decorations behind Chris, and thought - no, that is definitely a touch of Karin behind him.

I too thought that you were in a fancy restaurant; leave it to Karin to prepare GOURMET, no less! Karin I have LOVED seeing these pictures, catching up... look at you go with the home schooling! I have relied on a group of us moms to switch off with our four kids doing letters each week, but you do it every week, now that's admirable. And what a smorgasbord of learning with Brazil and aviary and apple muffins ;) I am your cheerleader; keep it up! Love ya.
