Halloween!!

Chris and I hosted our first ever Halloween party last night! It was a blast and although we had some tears (mostly from Arthur landing on his head against the concrete several times in the course of the evening) a great time was had by all. We had yummy food, cool decorations and some awesome costumes!

We had a lot of friends from our ward and neighborhood there and we enjoyed socializing with everyone over steaming bowls of Chipotle Chocolate Chili!

Cute kids all dressed up!

Can you see the massive goose egg forming on Arthur's forehead? Apparently being a fireman is a really dangerous job, even if it is just for Halloween!

My very pregnant sister-in-law (aka: pregnant cheerleader!) and I making merry Halloween style!
Ok now, I hate to toot my own horn as they say...but I have to add that I made my costume from scratch this year! Yep, that's right- what you are seeing is a home-sewn Princess Lolly dress and I must say that Candyland looked pretty cute that night!

Loved this 7-layer creepy dip from Anna!

Our upstairs neighbors- can you get any cuter!?!

We even had a station where kids could make their own monster puppet!

My brother Dan and his prego wife, Anna!

I had to get pictures of all the homemade decorations before the night kicked off, just in case I decide to never do this again!!

Our graveyard; complete with spiders and spider webs.

Five ghosts just hanging out on the clothes line.

My milk jug lanterns looked cooler when it started getting dark and they lit up!

Mummy hotdogs (just look at them sideways...I forgot to rotate this pic!)

Skeleton gingerbread men.

Can you read the creepy labels on our sodas? Funny thing- the bottle of liquid toenails was still full at the end of the night!

Check out my darling Frankenstein Monster family!

More spooky treats!

The best part of the whole night? Seeing these adorable costumes on our kids!!

Stella made the most precious ladybug I've ever seen!

Decorating Halloween cookies with cousins!

We had such a fun night!

Holy Ghosts! (I was going to say holy cow, but then I thought it would be appropriate to use some Halloweeny phrase, but maybe ghosts isn't the best choice. Eh...) Cutest. Party. Ever! I wish we could have been there. Looks like it was tons of fun. Your kids' costumes are delightful! I notice there are no pictures of one Lord Licorice or King Kandy. Party pooper, Chris. ;) Ah, so bummed we missed it. You are a festival extraordinaire!
