The last two weeks

Cousins running around on Temple Square together!

There is something magical about outdoor fountains, that is until it started to rain!

Eating a yummy lunch at The Lion House with Michelle and her two kids- Keldon and Katie

If you had talked to me two weeks ago I would have told you all about my plans to 'lay low' and take it easy for the final weeks of my pregnancy. I would have painted a picture of tranquility- me laying on the couch enjoying a good book while Chris rubs my feet and I wait out the last days of being a mom of one. Sounds nice huh? That's kind of what I was thinking...but life had other plans for me!
Suddenly I was handed a calling- Primary secretary, my sister and her family came in to town to visit for two weeks, Chris left town for half a week on a school trip, my brother's baby was born, and on and on life goes. To sum it up, it was a very fun and full two weeks! So I didn't get to read that novel or lay around on the couch all day, but the time sure has flown by and now I am staring labor right in the face! We loved visiting with my sister and her kids and keeping busy with fun activities and, let's face it, I probably would have gotten bored of foot rubs pretty fast!
So thanks for coming to Utah Michelle!

I am so excited for you guys, and will be thinking of yall and your closet-ful and bundle-ful of pink over the next few days! I know what you mean about dreams of relaxing... I have come to think that our days of relaxing might be out of sight for quite a few years. Being a Mom and having a busy life is a wonderful, fun, rewarding, 24-7, tiring job!
