Arthur's artwork! We have quite the gallery going here, and it is the perfect decoration for our apartment! He absolutely loves to paint so this is a frequent activity for us.

We improvised a sand pit for Arthur with crushed up Cheerios, he wanted to play in this all day! The only thing that was more fun for him than scooping and digging and spreading it around was getting to sweep it up when we were all done.

We can't wait for summer and real sand pits!!

We have the coolest couch in our living room! It makes into a bed and we discovered that, with a little bit of imagination, it also doubles as an indoor playground!

The couch as a tunnel!

And now as a slide!

Last but not least, Arthur has been working on his catwalk in Mama's high heeled shoes.
Since Chris's classes don't start until next week we have had these last few weeks in Poland all to ourselves! How have we been spending our time? Amongst the grocery shopping adventures and navigating the city we have been trying to spend as much fun time together as possible. Arthur loves having mama and dada home all day so that hasn't been too difficult! The winter weather here and the general blanket of snow that covers us means that we haven't found much to do out of doors yet. With a curious and playful almost 2-year-old we have had to get a bit creative about having fun indoors. So here is a glimpse at how we have been spending our days!

Nice sand pit idea!
Your apartment looks so cute! Yea for your own place! And family time!
What creative fun! It brings back the memories of raising you kids with all the adventures and creative energy you had too. You are great parents and I admire your teaching and playing time with Arthur.
