Yesterday was Arthur's five month birthday and he wanted to celebrate with a big slice of birthday cake, but we thought that we would introduce him to rice cereal first. So here we have it- Arthur's first taste of anything with texture! He started out pretty good, if we are gauging 'good' by how well he spit out each bite, but after a while I think he began to get the hang of it! Chris was frying eggs at the same time and you should have seen Arthur's face when he saw Daddy's breakfast- pure longing! I think he would have rather started his first meal with a full English fried breakfast, but we are taking it one step at a time- first we are learning how to chew and then we can move on to eggs and bacon.
