This past weekend we loaded our car full of road-trip worthy snacks, books, and toys and took Arthur on his first trip to the 'city of sun' Las Vegas! Our best friends Danny and BreighAn Lainhart had a beautiful baby boy last Thursday and we couldn't wait to see them, so without hesitation we hopped in the ol' Honda ready to hit the road. Apparently the ol' Honda had other things in mind and as I cranked the key in the ignition I was greeted with the most horrendous clicks, clangs and bangs. So, needless to say our big adventure got off to a bit of a rocky start, but one trip to Auto Zone and a Die Hard battery later and we were (finally!) on our way Friday evening. It was so great to visit baby Keegan Noble in the NICU, he is such a sweet boy and we can't wait to hold him some day soon! Unfortunately, we weren't able to take pictures in the NICU so Keegan will have to make his Davey blog debut next time we visit.
