Wyoming

 We spent a long weekend in Wyoming last week with our best friends Danny and BreighAn. Danny grew up on a ranch outside of Star Valley and they were spending some time there with his parents so we joined them for a few days to take in the sights!

 We took some long walks and explored the ranch with a real cowboy tour guide!

 Danny even showed us the three seater outhouse behind the old house!

 Arthur loved helping out Uncle Danny with chores and became a real little sidekick!

 Horseback riding was a big highlight for us all! 

 Stella made a best friend while we were there! His name is Max and although he is old and totally deaf he was such a sweetie and pretty much all Stella wanted to do was follow him around all day! 

 Chris got to help gut some fish while we were there....yumm...

 I'm pretty sure that some of the fish were bigger than Stella.

 We spent one of our afternoons driving up into the mountains and then hiking up to a beautiful spring. 

Stella and I stayed at a comfy spot about 3/4 of the way up and dangled our feet in the spring while the others hiked up to the top to enjoy the view. 

 Arthur was a real trooper and hiked all the way up on his own!

 After our hike we stopped for ice cream at a drive inn.

The kids loved it! 

We had such a great time in Wyoming and couldn't have asked for a better weekend. It was so beautiful and peaceful out in the country and the kids had a great time roaming around on our little adventures. Did I mention that Chris went on his first cattle drive? And BreighAn and I spent every second catching up, so all in all it was a pretty perfect trip!
