I just wanted to put up some of those everyday pictures that seem to capture the little moments in between the big stuff. So here a little look at what else we've been up to in July.
Chris became a High Priest! It was a wonderful and special spiritual day for us and it was great to have a few close friends and family members with us for the ordination. I think that this event really confirmed two main things for Chris: 1. That the Lord is preparing him for bigger things to come. 2. That he really is as old as he feels! ;)
We talked about Pioneers a lot this month at home and even made a fun 'covered wagon' treat for FHE one week.
We spent the 4th of July at the Children's Discovery Garden at Thanksgiving Point. It was a fun way to cool off and enjoy the holiday. Unfortunately it seems that I only took pictures of the fish for some reason....so you'll just have to imagine all of the fountain play, cave exploring, boat racing, sand digging fun that went along with feeding the gold fish!
Splash pad fun!
Can you see Arthur?

Love the picture of Arthur buried in his animal basket! The sunglasses are really cool too. Congratulations on the special event for Chris and the maturity that comes along with feeling as old as you are. Keep it cool in all the heat there... just remember that your nights are cool... no humidity! I am jealous!
