Karin and Arthur are back on the island!
If you weren't sure we were ever gone that probably means that you either didn't miss us or we weren't the ones sleeping on your living room floor- both good news for you. For the rest of you unluckys- here is the latest:
1. All of the Davey family can now legally reside in England for at least the next 14 months- thank you UK Visas.
2. Arthur only screamed for about a cumulative hour and a half of the 7 hour flight from Atlanta to London.
3. We have not recovered from jet lag yet, in fact we have regular midnight parties that rage on to the wee hours of the morning thanks to our resident party planner, Arthur.
4. It is great to be back with Daddy! Arthur wouldn't let him out of sight for the first few days and it is amazing how much happier he is having Chris around making him laugh!
5. I am adjusting back to English food...slowly! I couldn't cut the craving for cheezits and grapenuts cereal for about the first 48 hours after landing.
The weather here is wet and chilly, but we have had a fire blazing in the fireplace and it makes me long for Christmas. It was such a blessing to be near loved ones for the last few months and to catch up on all that we miss being so far away. So thank you thank you for the meals, the playdates, the long talks, the laundry room floor, the air mattress, the toys, the walks, and the memories. These are the highlights of the 632 pictures that I came home with on the camera in backwards order.

I wish I would have known you were here. I sent you b-day wishes and never heard back. I'm not sure why you won't respond to me but I truly hope you are happy.
Great times!! We will always remember the fun we had while you and Arthur lived with us. Nathan asked just today where you went and why - apparently he thinks you belong with us now! I'm missing our late-night desserts and laughs. Can't wait to see you again!!!
Yay! Karin, I ate every one of those pictures up. Each one was so darling. There is one that he looks so similar to Chris it is almost frightening. I love the one of you and Arthur on the beach. You guys really got around! Didn't waste any time in the states.
SO very happy you are back safe and sound with Chris and family but anxiously awaiting whenever our next reunion will be, my dear friend!
Love you,
Lis
